With summer holidays on the horizon how do you fancy riding around the Alps or the Pyrenees, indeed anywhere in central Europe in 2018 without that long hard motorway slog to get there? Well, our friends at Bikeshuttle are offering one lucky RiDE reader the chance to win a free return passage for their bike to Toulouse in a prize worth over £600. No more boring motorways, no squared off tyres, no toll charges or fuel stops, just great winding roads to explore without the ballache of riding all the way there and back.

The way Bikeshuttle works is that you ride your bike to meet its purpose-built trailer at its depot near Silverstone, Northants. The bike is then securely loaded along with your helmet and leathers while you are taken to a local hostelry for a cheeky brunch before being driven to the airport. You fly out to Toulouse and stop overnight in a hotel close to the airport. After breakfast the following morning, like some great magic trick, your bike is there, outside, having been transported overnight through France. You meanwhile are refreshed and ready to go, having saved yourself some precious travelling time, which can be fully exploited on mountain passes and other great biking roads. It’s estimated that by using Bikeshuttle you can effectively gain an extra three days of touring on mountains not motorways and what’s not to like about that?

The service runs from May to September and the lucky winner could even combine their prize with a trip to one of the Moto GPs, or World Ducati Week. The Bikeshuttle transporter normally departs on a Thursday, delivers the bikes in Toulouse on the Friday morning and brings returning bikes back to the UK for a Saturday collection.

All the departure dates are now available on the Bikeshuttle website at www.bikeshuttle.co.uk, or you can call 01327 831552 or email sales@bikeshuttle.co.uk . Click here to enter.

Please note: The winner will be responsible for booking and paying for their flight and accommodation, the prize is for a free return trip for one bike and airport transfer
